Job Title: Surgical Technologist

Job Type: Part-Time (2-3 days per week; typically Tuesdays/Fridays)

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room by ensuring the sterile field, surgical instruments, and equipment are set up properly.
Assist the surgical team during procedures by handing instruments, supplies, and equipment.
Monitor sterile techniques and maintain cleanliness and organization in the operating room.
Anticipate the surgeon’s needs during operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
Learn the surgeon’s preferences and techniques in the operating room.
Assist with patient positioning and prep for surgery.
Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment.
Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to provide excellent patient care.
Monitor and identify supplies that need reordering and restocking.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
Experience in a surgical setting with a strong understanding of sterilization and infection control practices.
Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgical team.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to stay focused and remain calm under pressure.
