Northridge Veterinary Center, a well-established small animal practice located in the North San Fernando Valley, is currently interviewing for the position of receptionist.
We desire individuals who consistently demonstrate their willingness to listen, learn and follow through. Candidates must communicate clearly and concisely, be able to multi-task effectively and be conscientious about attention to detail. Time management and ability to prioritize is imperative. Eligible candidates are reliable, responsible, committed, and confident.
Preferred candidates have strong time management and client services skills, willing and able to be scheduled based on the needs of the business.
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Busy phones, scheduling appointments, check in, drop off, check out, filing
Preparing treatment / surgical procedure estimates as directed.
Learning daily operational opening and closing tasks.
Accuracy in recording treatments and services rendered in medical records
New client files, daily write ups.
Reminder calls.
Emailing / faxing records for mutual patients, incoming and outgoing.
Insurance claim forms and third-party refill requests.
General clinic duties for all personnel include but are not limited to:
Kennel maintenance and cleaning, dog walking, boarding care and grooming
Receiving orders, inventory rotation, cycle counts
Stocking, cleaning, routine facility maintenance
Northridge Veterinary Center, Inc. operates 7 days a week. No overnights.
Schedules are flexible and we will consider part-time or full-time availability
