Responsibilities of a Collision Repair Production Manager
Manage and coordinate the overall production activities in the auto body shop, including but not limited to scheduling, workflow management, operations, and resource allocation.
Oversee a team of skilled technicians such as; body shop technician, painters, parts helpers to ensure adherence to quality standards and timelines for repair and painting work.
Develop and implement production strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize customer satisfaction.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the performance of the production team and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with other departments, such as the estimating team, parts department, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations and timely completion of projects.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety among the team.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
