Tide Redondo Beach is seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Laundry Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that garments and linens are pressed to perfection, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, as well as attention to detail and consistent standards. The Presser will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities
Operate pressing machines and equipment to remove wrinkles and creases from garments and linens.
Press, steam and finish garments to company standards.
Press various types of garments to their unique specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area, including proper storage of equipment and supplies.
Provide excellent customer service by ensuring satisfaction with finished products.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain workflow efficiency.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as necessary.
