Studio Rental Company is seeking a part-time facilities cleaning and maintenance professional to join our team in Los Angeles. This is an evening role (work hours start after 7 pm) responsible for daily cleaning, resetting and prepping our studio spaces and gear for the next work day.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily cleaning and organization of our Downtown LA studio locations (sanitizing, mopping, furniture and prop scrubbing, gear testing, etc)
Resetting all spaces to be ready for the next day's bookings, including photography equipment
Ensuring all lighting, ACs, and equipment are properly shut off at the end of each shift
Light maintenance (changing light bulbs, tightening screws, troubleshooting simple gear, painting, etc)
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, janitorial, or cleaning role
Ability to work efficiently and independently during evening/overnight hours
Reliable transportation or ability to commute between several locations if necessary
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized work environment
Resident of the local Downtown area is preferred, especially if close to one of the locations
Teamwork
Be able to follow instructions in written form, and able to independently learn new skills
Be comfortable with using online tools like various apps for communication, scheduling, etc
Compensation and Schedule:
$20/hour starting rate
Part-time, evening shifts, minimum 3 shifts per week. 10 to 30 hours per week. (Shift length could vary, but typically between 3 to 5 hours usually falls between 7 pm and 1 am depending on workload)
Flexible schedule across 7 days per week, weekend availability is a MUST. (Saturday and Sunday nights)
This is a perfect part-time gig for those who may already have some daytime commitments.
