We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work effectively on construction sites. The Fire Sprinkler Technician will ensure that all systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
Install, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
Conduct inspections of existing sprinkler systems to identify any issues or deficiencies.
Perform repairs on malfunctioning systems and ensure they are operational.
Collaborate with construction teams to integrate fire protection systems into new builds.
Prepare documentation for inspections and maintenance records.
Utilize construction management software such as Procore and Bluebeam for project tracking and reporting.
Assist in budgeting and project scheduling related to fire protection installations.
Ensure quality control measures are adhered to throughout the installation process.
Skills
Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and relevant codes and standards.
Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore
Experience in construction management, including project scheduling and estimating.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to fire protection systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and contractors.
Familiarity with contract management as it pertains to construction projects.
Ability to work efficiently on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols.
