Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Furniture Delivery Driver to join our team. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for driving a 20' box truck, loading it with furniture, and ensuring timely delivery and assembly of furniture at our clients' homes. You will manage delivery routes with the assistance of a helper, and together, you will ensure that our clients receive their furniture in excellent condition and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive a 20' box truck to deliver furniture to clients' homes.
Load and unload furniture onto the truck and into clients' homes.
Assemble furniture at the client's location.
Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely and professional manner.
Manage delivery routes efficiently, coordinating with a delivery helper.
Provide excellent customer service by handling furniture with care and addressing any client concerns on-site.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
Follow all safety and company protocols during deliveries and assembly.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in furniture delivery and assembly is highly preferred.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate a 20' box truck.
Strong physical stamina to lift and move heavy furniture.
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work well as part of a team.
