We are seeking a skilled and reliable gardener to maintain and enhance the landscaping of a property in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of gardening practices, plant care, and landscaping. In addition to gardening duties, candidates with handyman skills will be given priority.
Responsibilities:
- Regular maintenance of lawns, gardens, and outdoor spaces.
- Planting, watering, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing plants, trees, and shrubs.
- Mowing, edging, and trimming lawns and hedges.
- Inspecting plants for pests and diseases and applying appropriate treatments.
- Operating and maintaining gardening tools and equipment.
- Ensuring that the property is clean and well-maintained at all times.
- Seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and snow/ice management.
- Minor repairs and maintenance tasks around the property (for candidates with handyman skills).
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a gardener or landscaper.
- Strong knowledge of local plants and gardening practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain gardening tools and machinery.
- Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
Schedule: Full-time or part-time (flexible hours).
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
