Summary of Position: Bluestone Development is a construction company based in Los Angeles, California specializing in custom homes, remodels, and property maintenance. We are looking for experienced laborers to assist in the construction and maintenance of homes and commercial spaces throughout Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
Be on-site daily to work on company’s various construction and maintenance projects throughout Los Angeles County
Perform various physical labor tasks, including digging, lifting, carrying and moving construction materials and equipment
Perform various building construction tasks, including basic carpentry, drywall, plumbing and electrical work
Operate standard construction tools and equipment
Report to supervisor regarding on-site job status and issues related to the projects
Maintain job site safety
Help prep and strike job sites, and ensure job site is kept in clean condition
Complete work orders and assist with material procurement for projects as needed;
Be attentive to details and quality control throughout the construction process; and
Assist in day-to-day hands-on tasks related to the construction and maintenance of beautiful homes and commercial buildings throughout Los Angeles.
Job Requirements:
1-5 years of experience in various types of construction in California;
Ability to work on multiple projects and tasks;
Knowledge and experience in the use and basic operation of construction tools and equipment
Good communication skills; Attention to detail when interpreting drawings and working in the field;
Ability to work independently; Experience in rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall, plumbing and electrical; and
Must have own tools; and
Must have valid, unexpired driver's license with satisfactory driving record and ability to travel;
