Estimator/Warehousing Specialist
We are growing! Roca Lock and Key, Inc is looking for a customer service driven individual with experience in estimating and warehousing.
Hourly Pay $19-25 based on experience
Estimator Job Duties:
Generate proposal by assessing technician’s inspection details and customer’s service request
Researching the cost of items such as materials, labor, and equipment
Consults with management team on project’s scope of work
Establishing and maintaining relationships with vendors and customers
Request price quotes from suppliers within a specified time frame
Preparing and submitting estimates within a specified time frame
Monitoring the costs at the different stages of a project to modify estimates as needed
Present cost estimates to upper management
Maintain accurate records of correspondence between vendors and customers
Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost, escalate to management as needed
Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
Maintain cost database based on previous estimates (able to recall completed projects scope of work and apply to new estimates)
Warehouse Job Duties:
Receive and document hardware delivery or returns and confirm quantity and quality of products received
Assist management with maintaining inventory and report low stock items as needed
Identify missing, lost, or damaged materials and notify management
Maintain accurate records of items received or returned in dispatch system and accounting software
Organize and clean warehouse shelves as directed by management
Create shipping labels, prepare packages, and create a report of returns to be presented to management
Mark and label inventory items
General Office Duties:
Assist walk-in customers with service requests and delegate to appropriate departments
Willing to learn locksmith industry terminology and hardware
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Requests additional information from customer, vendors, or technicians via email or phone if necessary
Requirements:
Work Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm (1 hr lunch) – This is a full-time position that will require OT as needed
Bilingual in Spanish/English
Proficient in spreadsheets, word processing, computer systems and computers
Detail oriented, organized, and able to multitask
Able to sit at computer for long periods of time
Previous experience in administrative support, accounting, or bookkeeping (preferred)
Must be open to learning locksmith terminology/hardware to have a basic understanding of technical field. We are open to training this person as an in-house locksmith if they are interested.
Full training for this role is expected to last approximately 1 year.
