We are seeking a reliable, hands-on household assistant to support a home move and property setup in Malibu. This role is short term and immediate for the first week while we are moving, minimal during the holiday week, then picks up again in January on a part-time basis, with more hands-on support needed in February and March.
Responsibilities
Unpacking boxes and organizing household items
Closet organization
Moving furniture and items within the property
Assisting with items from storage containers on-site
Hanging artwork, mirrors, shelves, and decor (basic tools required)
Running errands between locations in Malibu
Letting in vendors, movers, and service providers
Light handyman tasks and general problem-solving
Keeping spaces clean and orderly during setup
Ideal Candidate
Physically able to lift, move, and organize
Comfortable with tools and basic home tasks
Trustworthy, punctual, and detail-oriented
Flexible schedule and strong problem-solving skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
This role is ideal for someone flexible who enjoys helping with a wide range of tasks during a move and home setup.
