We are seeking a skilled Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join our clients team in Northridge, CA. You will prioritize safety and quality in assembly work, collaborate to improve efficiency, and manage additional duties, all under minimal supervision.
Duties:
Emphasize the importance of sobriety and diligence for all team members in this safety-sensitive role.
Perform assembly and adjustments on product pieces with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
Work alongside team members to enhance production processes and meet daily goals.
Achieve and maintain high efficiency and quality standards across multiple proficiency levels, from Level 1 to Sewing Lead.
Additional responsibilities Include maintenance, problem reporting, energy conservation, and other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Skills:
1 to 3 months industrial sewing and/or training preferred but not required.
Sewing skills and the ability to cross-train on hemming, overlock, felling, single needle, binding and tacking processes.
Be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with priorities that may change frequently

$17.00 to $17.50
