Position: Seasonal Janitor
Pay: $18.50/hour
Location: South Los Angeles (90037)
Shift: Flexible shifts available – perfect for fitting around your schedule!
Most openings are during late morning (11am & 12pm) and mid–late afternoon (3pm, 4pm & 5pm)
Position Overview:
As a School Janitor supporting South LA school sites, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of school campuses. Your daily responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and maintaining:
Hallways, common areas, and courtyards
Cafeterias, restrooms, and eating areas
Classrooms, offices, and administrative spaces
Gyms and other recreational areas
Sanitizing high-touch surfaces:
Desks and tables
Door handles and railings
Vending machines
Shared equipment and toys
Additional duties:
Using appropriate cleaning chemicals and methods based on surface type
Communicating with school staff and your supervisor for supply needs or instructions
Adhering to all school safety and COVID-19 protocols
Who We’re Looking For:
Prior janitorial, housekeeping, or sanitation experience preferred
Able to pass a post-offer background check, drug screen, and TB test
Reliable team players who can follow protocols and work independently
