Very busy laundromat needs an attendant to work part-time, usually 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. This will include some weekends. Some weeks may be full time. You must be a hard-working person who can work independently. You need to be friendly and nice to customers. There is some computer usage so prior computer use is a must. Bilingual is preferred, but English only is okay as well. You must be a person who can "see" dirt. We pride ourselves on being the cleanest laundromat in the city.
In addition, this job will include driving a van part-time to pick up and deliver laundry to customers. Therefore, a valid license, having had a license for at least 8-10 years for insurance purposes, being able to drive a long vehicle, and having a clean driving record for the last three years is critical. This attendant job may eventually become a driving job full-time. When you are trained to drive you will get a raise.
Maturity and hardworking is critical. Being friendly to customers is very important.
After 30 days, you will begin to receive tips. These tips usually range between $1-$2 an hour.
