Description:
We are specializing in residential building projects, seeking a skilled Light Gauge Steel Framer to join our team immediately in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and installing light gauge steel frames, ensuring structural integrity and alignment according to blueprints and engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction blueprints and diagrams.
Adjust pre - cut, assemble, and install light gauge steel frames.
Ensure all frameworks are correctly aligned and meet structural standards.
Manage materials inventory and order supplies as necessary.
Supervise and train other team members on light gauge steel framing techniques.
Adhere to all workplace safety guidelines and regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Steel Framer or similar role in construction.
Strong understanding of construction drawings and mechanical design.
Proficient in using tools and machinery used in steel framing.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
High attention to detail and precision.
Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in Construction or Engineering is preferred.
Provide at least three professional references.
