We are a home staging / interior design company whose warehouse is the heart of our operation. We're looking for a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager & Head Mover to lead our warehouse team and ensure smooth execution of all staging projects.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on professional to manage our warehouse operations and lead our moving crew. You’ll be responsible for maintaining organization in the warehouse and safely transporting furnishings to and from staging locations.
Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management:
-Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and safety
-Track furniture condition and coordinate maintenance or repairs
-Make sure furniture returns to the warehouse wrapped well and put back into the correct sections
Head Mover Duties:
-Lead a team in the loading, transport, and unloading of furniture and décor
-Safely pack and protect items for delivery and staging setup
-Coordinate with the design team to execute layouts as planned
-Safely drive and maintain company trucks
-Assist with setup and breakdown of staging projects, often under tight deadlines
Requirements:
-Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management and/or moving
-Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (commercial license preferred)
-Must have your own car
-Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs regularly
-Strong organizational and leadership skills
-Basic knowledge of furniture handling and loading best practices
-Excellent communication and teamwork skills
-Punctual, dependable, and able to adapt to changing priorities
Preferred:
-Experience in the home staging, moving, or furniture industry
-Starting pay at $30 an hour + depending on experience
