We’re seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Mechanic to join our food production team in the City of Vernon and Baldwin Park. The ideal candidate will have experience in food manufacturing, strong mechanical skills, and their own tools.
This is a full-time, long-term position

Job Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on food production machinery and equipment
Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
Replace or repair defective parts, such as motors, bearings, seals, belts, and pumps
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records
Follow all company safety, GMP, and food safety procedures
Collaborate with production supervisors to ensure machines are operating efficiently
Assist in equipment installation and line setup as needed
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a food manufacturing environment
Must have own tools
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
Must be able to work in a cold or refrigerated environment
Must pass E-Verification
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Flexibility to work overtime or weekends if required
