MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN AT REAL ESTATE INVESTEMENT / PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OFFICE
We are a growing real estate investment and multi-family property management company with apartment buildings throughout the City of Los Angeles (Westside, Long Beach, San Fernando Valley). We are located in North Hollywood, CA (near the 134 and 170 Freeways).
JOB RESPONSIBILITY/DUTIES:
Performance of all maintenance and repairs of the property as assigned
Repair plumbing fixtures (replace or install faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, etc.)
Prepare vacant units for move-in including painting, flooring, tiling, installing new appliances, drywall repair
Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs, switches, fuses
Experience in carpentry, cabinet installation, framing, concrete/masonry
Perform interior repairs related to doors and windows
Repair and/or replace HVAC systems
Complete annual unit inspections
Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard
Maintain the inventory records for equipment and supplies
Available to be “on-call” when requested
Maintain the highest level of customer service
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5 years experience in multiple trades of apartment remodeling and general repairs
Must be well-organized and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
Must know how to work per building code requirements
Effective problem-solving abilities
Provide own tools related to all trades
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time with frequent bending, lifting, and climbing
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds variable distances
Must be capable to use a smart phone
Must have your own transportation and proof of current auto insurance
Authorized to work in the US
Full-time employment
COMPENSATION:
$25-$27 + per hour DOE
