Qualifications
Capability to work outdoors in extreme conditions such as cold, heat, and humidity
Must be able to lift 51 pounds for all physical job tasks
Proficient in using a wheelbarrow
optional:
Experience with Wacker and other small equipment used for moving concrete and pipe
1 year of experience in road or construction work
1 year of experience in underground utility work
1 year of experience working outdoors in extreme weather conditions
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
Must be able to read a tape measure and perform basic mathematical calculations
Must possess a valid TWIC card and Basic Plus certification
Responsibilities
Preparing utility pipes for the crew
Cutting materials
Transporting materials
Hand grading
Checking string lines
Maintaining job site cleanliness
Ensuring adherence to safety protocols
Laying out job materials according to plans
Setting up at the beginning of the day and cleaning up at the end of the day, etc.
