Responsibilities:
Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct product and quantity.
Verify product codes, labels and packaging to ensure order accuracy.
Maintain a safe, organized and clean workspace, adhering to warehouse standards.
Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies or issues.
Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
Follow quality control procedures to ensure high quality products.
Comply with food safety and handling regulations
Requirements:
Previous warehouse experience, preferably in produce or food distribution.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to use electric pallet jacks and forklifts (Certification required to operate forklift).
Basic math/reading skills and attention to detail.
Communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced/refrigerated environment.
Ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, push and pull for long periods of time.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
