We’re a long-established food importer and manufacturer in Van Nuys looking for a reliable, hands-on person to help with general facility and plant upkeep. Great fit for a semi-retired tradesperson or anyone who enjoys working with their hands and staying active.
Typical work includes:
Assisting janitorial staff with facility cleanup
Painting, plaster, drywall, and small repair projects
Pressure washing and light chemical washdowns (non-hazmat)
Light fabrication (welding, simple machine/fix-it work)
Occasional supply runs (Home Depot, Harbor Freight, etc.) — must have a car
We’re not looking for a technician — just a dependable, curious person who likes variety and takes pride in their work.
Requirements:
Good with tools and basic repairs
Valid driver’s license + car
Reliable and safety-minded
Flexible 2–4 days per week (Mon–Fri, 8 AM–4 PM)
