Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager to oversee office tenant improvement (TI) projects across our portfolio. The ideal candidate has strong construction oversight experience, is comfortable being on job sites, and can manage projects from start to finish with attention to cost efficiency, scheduling, and quality.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day progress of office TI projects.
Conduct regular job site visits to ensure work is progressing on schedule and within budget.
Manage subcontractors: coordinate schedules, supervise quality of work, and resolve issues as they arise.
Source and qualify new subcontractors as needed.
Procure materials—researching and securing cost-effective options without sacrificing quality.
Track project budgets and timelines, reporting progress to ownership.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Qualifications
5+ years of general construction or project management experience (office TI experience preferred).
Strong knowledge of construction trades, materials, and sequencing.
Proven ability to manage multiple subs and vendors.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and drive projects forward independently.
Spanish-speaking strongly preferred.
Reliable transportation to travel between project sites.
