Job Title: Residential Plumber
Location: San Gabriel Valley
Reports To: Project Manager
Job Overview:
The Residential Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing systems, adherence to safety standards, and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation and Maintenance:
Install and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential buildings.
Ensure plumbing systems are operating efficiently and meet local codes and standards.
Troubleshooting and Repairs:
Diagnose plumbing issues using appropriate testing equipment.
Repair or replace defective components, such as leaky pipes, clogged drains, and malfunctioning fixtures.
System Upgrades and Remodels:
Perform plumbing upgrades and installations during home remodels or renovations.
Install new water heaters, filtration systems, and other plumbing-related appliances.
Compliance and Safety:
Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of oneself and others on site.
Adhere to local, state, and national plumbing codes and regulations.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including time, materials used, and job progress.
Prepare cost estimates for clients as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a residential plumber.
In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in various environments.
Valid driver’s license.
Working Conditions:
Work may be performed indoors and outdoors, sometimes in inclement weather.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and stand or kneel for extended periods.
May require evening or weekend work depending on project deadlines.
Compensation:
$25-$35hr
