Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles, a reputable 501c3 non-profit organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Pugs and Pug mixes, is seeking a compassionate individual to join our team as a Part-Time Kennel Assistant
Job Overview:
This is a unique opportunity to work in a positive environment surrounded by dogs. As a part of our dedicated team, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of our rescued dogs, providing them with love, attention, and support.
Responsibilities:
Feeding, medicating, bathing, and walking dogs
Doing laundry and keeping facilities clean
Assisting with adoption processes
Collaborating with fellow team members to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our dogs
Requirements:
Genuine love for dogs and a passion for animal welfare
Availability for a Monday shift from 7am to 11am
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with up to 40-60 small dogs
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Valid driver's license
Additional Information:
Part-time position (one shift Monday 7-11am) with potential for additional hours, covering vacations and future open shifts
Prior experience in animal care or rescue preferred
