Key Responsibilities
. Communicate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL) to schedule pickups and resolve shipping issues.
. Assign tasks, monitor team performance, and provide training as needed.
. Coordinate and process daily shipping orders.
. Stage completed orders and load outbound trucks.
. Follow detailed customer routing guides and meet tight shipping deadlines.
. Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectively.
. Collaborate with distribution center and customer service teams.
. Process various shipping methods (UPS, UPSP, DHL, FedEx, LTL)
. Support and guide team members, ensuring proper training and adherence to safety protocols.
. Report safety concerns to management and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
. Assist with projects assigned by the Logistics Distribution Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
. Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping or logistics.
. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office programs.
. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and stooping.
. Highly organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
. Proven leadership and team coordination abilities
. Experience with forklifts and/ or electric pallet jacks
. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
. Strong problem -solving and decision-making skis
