Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Biohazard Cleanup Technician located in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area at Steri-Clean, Inc.®. The Biohazard Cleanup Technician will be responsible for cleaning crime and trauma scenes, infectious diseases, and hoarding homes. The role involves handling biohazardous materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in sensitive situations.
Qualifications
Certification in biohazard cleanup procedures (paid by company)
Experience in handling biohazardous materials (provided during training)
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures (provided during training)
Ability to maintain professionalism in sensitive situations
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks requiring strength and endurance
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Experience in a related field such as environmental services, EMT, law enforcement, military, fire department is a BIG plus
Pay Rate
$22-$32 /hour based on experience, with the possibility of overtime pay and increases based on merit.
