August Uncommon Tea is hiring a Tea Production Associate.
August is a premium direct to consumer tea brand based in Monrovia, CA. We are hiring a production associate to join our small team.
This job primarily involves packing loose tea into retail packaging. It requires attention to detail, manual skills, and the endurance to maintain high quality standards every work day. August is a woman-owned company with a diverse team. Individuals of all identities and backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
Operate particle filling machine and heat sealer safely while producing finished product that meets or exceeds expectations.
Follow all food safety and quality control standards
Maintain a neat and sanitary work area
Participate in monthly stock counts
Follow and carry out verbal and written instructions
Attention to detail and surroundings is a must
Ability to work seamlessly as part of a team as well as independently
A multi-tasker in a moderately paced environment that can meet daily and weekly production goals
Work in a standing position with both hands in constant motion
Comfortable lifting loads of up to 60-90 lbs
Details & Compensation
$17/hr, hourly
Full time, 30-40hrs / week
