Our small online retail business needs a warehouse associate (Picker/packer)
We are looking for someone to work in our small, quiet, warehouse. This job is perfect for someone who likes to work alone. But who can also work with a small team when necessary.
This is a part-time position from 10 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, and pays $19.00 an hour.
Tasks include: packing orders for shipping, light assembly, shipping, inventory, and maintaining cleanliness of the warehouse and a small restroom.
This job requires: a sharp eye for detail, good memory, and the ability to work at a good pace. Must have basic computer skills. Punctuality, good attendance and a positive attitude is required.
Previous experience is helpful but not required. Willing to train the right person.
Our warehouse has no machinery or forklifts.
This business is a perfume and fragrance free environment under ADA laws, so there can be no wearing of fragrances or colognes.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Picker/packer
Shipping and receiving
Inventory
Light Assembly
Breaking down boxes
Maintaining cleanliness of warehouse and restroom
Trash disposal, and other duties as needed
Requirements:
Detail oriented and highly accurate when filling orders
Must be self-motivated
Must be punctual and have a helpful and good attitude
Able to stand for 5 hours
Able to lift 40 lbs (occasionally)
Ability to work alone and unsupervised
Ability to follow directions and work quickly to complete tasks
Must have high school diploma or GED
