Hello everyone,
At IMI, we take pride in our 35+ years of experience installing top-quality floors in diverse settings, from commercial buildings to residential homes and even renowned locations like Disneyland. We are known for our commitment to precision, hard work, and leaving every workspace cleaner than we found it. As our busy season approaches, we are seeking dedicated helpers, movers, and hands-on team members to join our carpentry team.
Tasks Include:
- Prep and maintain a detailed list of tools required for job sites.
- Provide personal transportation to and from job sites.
- Arrive ON TIME AND EARLY and be prepared to start work promptly.
- Assist in moving various furniture and equipment necessary for floor installation.
- Perform carpet or tile demolition, a physically demanding task.
- Thoroughly sweep and prepare floors for adhesive application.
- Vacuum dust from the floor post-sweeping.
- Support full-time carpentry workers by maintaining cleanliness and organization on the job site.
- Dispose of demolition materials properly in designated areas.
- Return moved furniture to its original positions as per provided photos.
- Conduct multiple vacuuming rounds for cleanliness.
- Ensure the job site is left in a CLEANER CONDITION THAN UPON ARRIVAL
Expectations:
We maintain a positive and teamwork-oriented environment and work with heavy equipment and tools. Candidates should come prepared with their tools, though we can provide them for beginners. Safety is paramount in all operations involving tools.
Employment Details:
Initial contract-based/freelance employment with potential for full-time positions.
Compensation ranges from $22 to $30 per hour based on experience.
