Warehouse/Shipping & Packing Clerk- $18.00 per hour
We are a beauty care distributor in Burbank. We are looking for a qualified individual to join our warehouse team.
What we are looking for –
Must be able to read and write English – as you will need to read pick lists, shipping labels and work orders.
Someone who can think on their feet without being micromanaged – For instance if something doesn’t fit into a box don’t ask what box to use just figure it out.
Someone who is on time and never late.
Can stand on feet all day, as this is a warehouse position. You will be walking around and standing for long periods of time.
Team player, someone who gets along with everyone in a diverse environment.
Someone who can take direction without getting butt hurt.
Someone who doesn’t whine, complain or snivel.
Someone who is in shape enough to work in a warehouse.
Cell phones are only permitted during break times.
What you will be doing.
Lifting boxes
Assembling boxes with tape
Pulling orders in specific warehouse locations with a pick list(will train)
Shipping packages using a computer with a shipping program.
Packing orders
Wrapping items with paper
Moving pallets with a pallet jack.
Restocking warehouse shelves with product.
Lifting is required regularly
Overtime required at times
Working hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm
Could be a great opportunity to grow for the right individual. Will train.
