Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
-Greet clients & truck drivers
-Must be punctual, reliable, and work well with the public
-Answer scale house phone / direct calls/messages
-Handle scale house operations - administration duties Document / Track/sort tickets daily
-Under general supervision, provides recordkeeping, basic customer service, and administrative support at truck scales and in-office
-Directs trucks to scale and record full and empty weights
-Calculates and collects fees and records charges
-Compiles record of inbound and outbound material weights by category (such as recyclables)
-Performs data entry of types of commodities (e.g., green waste, recycled) on loads brought in by trucks; records material weights by category
-Inspects and ensures the validity of loads
-May be required to calculate payment to customers for recycled materials
-Understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Bilingual is a plus
Location: Sun Valley, CA
Starting rate: $19hr
Shift: Part-time
Wednesday-Friday 12:00-5:00pm
Saturday 7:00am-4:00pm
Sunday 7:00am-2:00pm
