We are seeking a professional and empathetic Legal Intake Coordinator & Admin Assistant to join our friendly and professional team. As the first point of contact for potential clients, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, collecting essential information, and assisting in assessing potential cases. Your ability to listen actively, communicate clearly, have a strong phone presence, and show empathy will be key in this role.
Responsibilities:
Handle incoming calls and emails from potential clients seeking legal assistance
Conduct initial intake interviews to gather relevant information about potential cases
Provide accurate information about our firm's services and procedures
Assist in evaluating the viability of potential cases for further review
Maintain detailed and organized records of client interactions and case details
Collaborate with attorneys and legal staff to ensure seamless client intake process
Administrative and personal assistant duties
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service, legal intake, or a related field preferred
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work empathetically with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Proficiency in emails, Microsoft Word, and general word processing
Punctual and dependable in office with general hours being 9am-5:30pm (inclusive of 30-minute meal period)
