DESCRIPTION:
The successful candidate performs a broad range of legal secretarial duties and assists with litigation including preparation and filing (eFiling) of pleadings in state and federal courts, calendaring (CompuLaw) and providing the full range of support to three or more attorneys (subject to change).
This is a high-level legal assistant position requiring the ability to work independently and perform a broad range of legal duties in support of attorneys and paralegals. The position requires the ability to complete basic research, make independent decisions to prioritize work, interpret data, and provide recommendations to solve problems. The work involves handling privileged and confidential matters/documents with required discretion.
This is a full-time hybrid role, starting at minimum 2 days/week requirement to be in office (subject to change). It comes with a benefits package to be discussed during the interview process.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.
Five years of relevant experience in a mid/large-sized legal setting.
Experience working with litigation documents, eFiling; state/federal filings, deposition vendors, court reporters, court clerks, mediators, etc.
Experience with CompuLaw.
Experience with document management system (please list specifics with your submission).
Experience with MS Office preferred.
