Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal who is self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting. This position offers the flexibility to work part-time with the potential to transition to full-time. The ideal candidate will be experienced in family law matters, highly organized, and comfortable managing cases from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist attorneys with case management, including preparing and filing legal documents, pleadings, and motions.

Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.

Draft and review legal documents such as declarations, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.

Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court staff in a professional and timely manner.

Manage and organize case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.

Schedule hearings, depositions, and other case-related appointments.

Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness lists.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal in a family law setting.

Strong understanding of California family law procedures and legal terminology.

Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.

High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive client information.

Paralegal certificate or degree from an accredited institution preferred.
