A Workers' Compensation Applicant firm is seeking to employ an intelligent, articulate, courteous, organized, and computer-literate person as a full-time associate attorney MUST HAVE PASSED CA BAR EXAM. The candidate also must be able to multi-task, exercise independent judgment with limited supervision.
For associate attorney position: The position will mostly be defending depositions, but will also require the attorney to appear in Court, prepare and argue motions and opposition to motions, draft discovery requests and responses, meet and confer letters, trial preparation and trial, and other related litigation tasks.
Proven leaders will be promoted to management roles in charge of their own team and can EARN UP-TO SIX FIGURES within the first year. We offer continued support through the entire process. You must have excellent communication, research and analytical skills, ability to work well with clients, attorneys and staff, and must have your own vehicle for travel to the various Boards(courts).
Willing to train new and enthusiastic attorneys who must be prepared to learn and travel.
Associate Requirements:
Ability to obtain statements and write clear concise hearing reports
Candidates must be responsible, efficient, reliable, punctual, and well spoken
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, and be able to effectively resolve problems
Possess and maintain a valid California Drivers License, Dependable vehicle with auto insurance coverage
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
Experience in Workers' Compensation or Personal Injury a plus.
