Law firm located in West Los Angeles has a need for an immediate paralegal or attorney. This is part time work and is not salary but 1099. Ideal for someone already set up in their own practice looking to grow and partner with a veteran attorney. This is for self starters and people who are not in need of excessive direction and this is not a learning position. Depending on experience this involves filing and defending restraining orders including civil harassment, domestic violence, elder abuse and workplace violence orders. DOE there can be law and motion work and if the applicant is an attorney court appearances. For attorneys there may also be some opportunity for criminal court appearances. The volume of work really depends on your own availability and skill set. Cases are in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Diego and San Bernardino counties.
