Small friendly westside law firm seeks a full-time receptionist/administrative assistant for firm specializing in workers compensation and civil law. Duties include answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, phone conferences and depositions, responding to client inquiries/concerns and potential new clients, keeping the calendar as well as your own for follow-up diaries, and booking conference rooms. Document handling includes typing correspondence, forms and letters, faxing, scanning into the database, organizing and maintaining cases and client files, and handling the mail.
The candidate must be honest, reliable, organized, a self-starter, be able to work independently, a quick learner, bi-lingual in Spanish and English and want to be trained to become the office manager. Salary is commensurate with experience. Bonuses and raises for hard working employees. We prefer 2 years of office experience.
