Small and busy state-wide law firm, with offices in Northern and Southern California, seeking a highly motivated remote contract civil litigation attorney with 3 to 5 years' experience in California state court and/or Federal Court.
The firm’s practice areas include insurance defense, environmental litigation (CERCLA), real estate litigation, business litigation and employment litigation.
An ideal candidate will have sufficient experience to independently handle: (1) discovery (propounding and responding); (2) drafting and responding to pleadings and motions, e.g., Demurrers, Motions to Strike, Motions for Summary Judgment, etc.; (3) depositions (taking and defending); and (4) routine court appearances.
Qualified candidates must be licensed, active and in good standing in California.
The rate for this position will be $55 - $70 per hour to start.
