Growing Workers' Compensation Defense Firm has an immediate opening for a full-time Legal Assistant.
The ideal candidate would be high energy, tech savvy and have 2+ years of office experience preferably for a Workers' Compensation firm (Applicant or Defense). Since we are paperless, strong Adobe Pro, Word and WordPerfect skills would be a plus.
Additional Qualifications:
Excellent spelling, grammar, writing, and proofreading skills
Strong communication skills
Highly organized
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and work well under pressure
A1-Law Case Management Software a plus
Duties include:
Working with attorneys on their caseloads
Maintaining attorney calendars
Prepare legal documents and correspondence
EAMS Filing
Scheduling
Typing
Phones
Processing Mail
Data Entry/ Word Processing (A1 Case Management System)
