GRAVEL, a premier destination for exquisite floral arrangements and installations, is seeking a talented and experienced Floral Designer for support during events and holidays. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for flowers and design to contribute to their high-quality service and unique floral offerings.
Position Overview:
As a Floral Designer at GRAVEL, you will create a wide range of floral arrangements and installations that meet and exceed their clients' expectations. You will work closely with their team to ensure all designs are executed with precision and creativity, contributing to the shop's overall success and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute floral arrangements in various styles and sizes, catering to a discerning clientele.
- Provide exceptional customer service, acting as a charismatic salesperson to help clients select the perfect floral solutions.
- Support the workroom by maintaining an organized and functional workspace
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to developing new design strategies and techniques.
- Work flexibly, including nights and weekends, to meet project deadlines and accommodate holiday schedules.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in floral design making arrangements in foam and stylized hand-tied bouquets.
- Knowledge of seasonal flowers and proper care of fresh cut flowers and plants.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion for event setups and installations.
- Very important to have a positive, respectful attitude towards team members.
- Proficiency in MAC OS and Google Suite.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Fluency in English; conversational Armenian or Russian is a plus.

- A self-starter who is motivated to learn and develop new skills while supporting the growth of team members.
- Flexibility to take on new tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
