Hello,
We have an opening at our Studio for a one off/ long term pottery instructor. Applicants must have an outgoing and engaging personality. In addition, applicants should be moderate to advanced level when it comes to throwing on the wheel. Prior experience is preferred but will consider those with advanced skill set.
We are also looking for handbuiding instructors. Please send your ig demonstrainging a body of work/skill level. We will ask you to demonstrate wheel throwing skills. You should be able to throw a 2-3lb vase in 5-10 mins and show mastery while also verbally describing the steps.
Pay is $30-$40 an hour. We're seeking to create a diverse studio that closely matches the diversity of our client base. BIPOC are encouraged to apply.
Studio access / firing services are included with the position.
