We are excitedly looking for a skilled Photo Retoucher with expert-level Photoshop abilities to join our team on a contract and commission basis!
Us: We are a luxury, female-owned photography studio specializing in maternity, newborn, family, and boudoir portraiture.
You: A visual creative who can take raw images and elevate them to polished, production-ready results.
Responsibilities:
Retouch, color-correct, and enhance photos to meet brand and client standards
Advanced skin and body retouching while maintaining natural texture and detail
Execute complex compositing, masking, and cleanup work
Deliver consistent, high-quality edits within deadlines
Communicate clearly and manage your own time within company workflows (as an independent contractor)
Archival of images in an online database
Requirements:
Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without supervision
High attention to detail and quality
Strong experience with diverse skin tones, textures and color grading
Knowledge with AI (Firefly or Midjourney) highly desirable
Reliable communication skills, not afraid to ask questions or contribute to solutions
Strong portfolio demonstrating retouching range
This position is remote and contract-based, featuring a competitive commission-driven pay model.
