HOURLY RANGE: $25.68 - $36.38
Rantec Microwave Systems, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Inspection Specialist to perform mechanical inspection on machined components and complex assemblies, as well as brazed assemblies.
Job Duties:
Operate a PC with Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc.).
Read, interpret, and follow mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, work instructions, manufacturing procedures, and quality procedures.
Program and operate CMM machines using PCDMIS software.
Use handheld inspection equipment to ensure part compliance (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
Skill Requirements:
Must be capable of performing all manners of mechanical inspection, utilizing all types of handheld equipment.
Write/modify programs and operate CMM machine utilizing PCDMIS software.
Understand and interpret geometric tolerancing.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Experience:
Minimum 5 Years mechanical inspection experience including operating and programming/modifying programs on PCDMIS-based CMM machines.
Dip Braze knowledge a plus
Must be able to obtain a security clearance to perform all duties associated with this position.
Physical Requirements:
May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
