Monday thru Friday – 7am to 3:30pm
$18 to $32hr depending on experience.
Busy manufacturer and installer of custom canopies and awnings for both commercial and residential is looking for Installers to join their team in Reseda.
Summary: The Installers' basic function is to install products at the customer locations. The Installer must ensure that all work is performed to the customer's reasonable expectations. The Installer must ensure that installations are done according to specifications and to the highest quality levels.
Responsibilities:
Assure you are dressed and act appropriately while on customer locations.
Assure all required materials and products for the installation are utilized effectively.
Assure the accurate and timely completion of all orders according to plan.
Assure the highest standards of quality and customer service are maintained.
Assist in the loading and unloading of the installation truck.
Makes sure that equipment taken for a job is accounted for and returned to the shop upon job completion.
Assure that job site waste products are properly disposed of.
Complete all work orders in the time allocated.
Responsible for good housekeeping in the truck, warehouse and on the job.
Disposal of all waste products properly.
Assist in restocking the warehouse as required and notify the Installation Leader if shortages exist on the trucks.
Requirements:
Must have a basic understanding of the awning fabrication and installation process.
Mathematical abilities at the level required to perform measurement and installation functions are essential.
Must be able to read and interpret renderings.
The mechanical abilities to install a wide variety of products.
The ability to perceive spatial relationships is a requirement.
Working Conditions:
Will be required to go out on calls to the customer's premises. The conditions at these premises are subject to outside environmental conditions.
