Position Open: Manufacturing Assistant
Location: Canoga Park, CA
Pay: Starting at $21.00 per hour, 40 hours per week (full time)
Shift: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday
Job Description:
The Manufacturing Assistant will perform a variety of manufacturing, production, shipping and housekeeping tasks. Manufacturing and production tasks will include material handling, machine operation and utilization of in-process instrumentation to manufacture rubber products (i.e. dock bumper, tubing etc.) in accordance to company policy and safety regulations. Shipping tasks include lifting, cleaning, preparing and packaging products ready for shipment. Position requires direct supervision or oversight by shop foreman.
Qualifications:
-Effective communication skills and comprehension skills (verbal and written)
-Sufficient arithmetic skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing in units of measurement)
-MUST be able to pass a drug test
-No prior experience needed, will train
-Must be able to use power tools including skill saw.
Education:
-High School Diploma or GED
