Sense & Sound LLC is a studio design and installation company based in Los Angeles. We design, manufacture, install and calibrate audio studios for the professional market.
Manufacturing Position
We’re looking to fill a manufacturing position at our workshop. We manufacture proprietary acoustic products, & installation hardware. Candidates should be good with working with their hands, be detail oriented, work well in a team, and be able to occasionally lift 50lbs.
You’ll be tasked with assisting in assembly of products, primarily acoustic panels. This will be a part time position in the near term. May grow to full time with the growth of the business. You’ll be working with materials such as plywood, luan, pegboard, soundboard, fabrics, fiberglass, wood glue and spray glue.
Requirements
Attention to detail
Professionalism, strong communication skills and accountability
Ability to lift 50+ lbs
Experience working with carpentry power tools, and woodwork is a plus
Compensation
This position begins as a part-time role, compensated at an hourly rate of $17.28 on a W-2 employee basis. As you demonstrate efficiency, independence, and become a valued member of the team, there will be opportunities for pay increases. Additionally, with the company's growth, there is potential for the role to transition to full-time.
