Production Assistant (Downtown Los Angeles)
Leading Denim company is looking for a professional, independent, and self-motivated candidate to work with our production team, to help and coordinate with factory for sample production progress, and mange and track all orders production from beginning to finish.
Immediate Hire Production Assistant
Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Work directly for production manager
- Help to translate designers’ drawing and fitting comments from English to Chinese and communicate with
China office
- Coordinate and follow up designer development sample weekly and production samples
- Manage and track WIP for all orders production progress
- Helping production and shipping teams to monitor on shipping schedule weekly to ensure delivery on time
- Monitor fabric, trims and sample quality to meet buyers’ requirement
-Collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met
- Help with organizing showroom and samples
- Perform other general duties/reports as assigned
Requirements:
- 1years in garment Apparel experience prefer
- Must understand garment construction and have basic measurement knowledges
- Fluent in both English and Chinese/Cantonese Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
- Self-directed and proactive
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word and Excel), Outlook and Adobe
- Team player
- Legal working status
