POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Flow Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in optimizing production processes, ensuring accurate reporting, and delivering products on time. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a strong analytical mindset, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The Production Flow Coordinator will also champion lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles to maximize efficiency, reduce waste, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. This includes using tools like Smartsheets to verify that safety and precision checks are completed and ensuring compliance across all production activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-PRODUCTION FLOOR OVERSIGHT:-
- Track and update the production floor report, including progress statuses of SAW, CNC, and ASSEMBLY OPERATIONS.
- Generate and print daily progress reports for review by the Production Manager and VP.
- Identify faults and delays in the production process and ensure they are reported, analyzed, and assigned to the appropriate departments for resolution.
-PROCESS ANALYSIS AND IMPROVEMENT:-
- Implement and monitor lean manufacturing principles, focusing on reducing waste and increasing productivity.
- Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to analyze production data, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions to minimize defects and variations.
- Promote Kaizen practices, encouraging continuous, incremental improvements in all areas of production.
-SAFETY AND PRECISION CHECKS:-
- Ensure safety and precision checks are conducted systematically through Smartsheets.
- Verify that all positions complete their required safety and quality checks as part of standard procedures.
- Monitor compliance and address any discrepancies promptly.
-SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY COORDINATION:-
- Analyze shipments to ensure proper paperwork and documentation is accurately completed and allocated to finished orders.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to facilitate the placement and delivery of completed tickets.
-COMMUNICATION AND REPORTING:-
- Collaborate with department leads to resolve production issues and meet deadlines.
- Provide updates on production schedules, delays, and resolutions to leadership.
- Prepare and distribute comprehensive reports on production trends, metrics, and improvement initiatives.
-COMPLIANCE AND DOSUMENTATION:-
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards in production operations.
- Maintain organized records of production data, delivery schedules, and shipment documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or production coordination role, preferably in the door and window industry.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen principles, with certifications being a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Experience with digital tools like Smartsheets and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
