We are seeking a skilled Upholsterer to join our team. The Upholsterer will be responsible for repairing and restoring furniture, vehicles, as well as creating custom upholstery pieces. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of fabrics and materials and will be able to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities: Repair and restore furniture, including chairs, sofas, and other upholstered items.
Create custom upholstery pieces, including cushions, pillows, etc. Measure and cut fabric to fit furniture pieces. Install padding and springs to furniture frames Use hand and power tools to complete upholstery projects. Keep work area clean and organized. Requirements: Proven experience as an Upholsterer. Ability to work with a variety of fabrics and materials. Experience using hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment: Work is performed in a workshop setting May be exposed to dust, fumes, and other materials May be required to work evenings and weekends, depending on project deadlines
Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience.
