Matsui International Co., Inc. is a leading manufacturer of water-based screen printing products. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Temporary Production Worker to assist in our production facility in Gardena, California. This is a hands-on role that involves preparing materials, mixing products, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare raw materials and mix water-based binders.
Produce products to specified sizes according to work orders and label containers accurately.
Store final products in designated warehouse areas.
Report any unusual situations during the mixing process to the Lead Operator.
Monitor raw material levels and report to the Lead Operator when supplies are low.
Lubricate equipment as scheduled for proper operation.
Clean containers and ensure proper maintenance of all equipment.
Check compressor oil daily as scheduled.
Load and unload shipments, including shipments from Japan and vendors.
Prepare orders and samples for shipment.
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse and production area.
Adhere to all safety protocols at all times.
Other Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain the forklift (with training and certification).
Attend training as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous production experience is helpful but not required.
Physical ability to bend, walk, carry, climb, kneel, sit, squat, stand, twist, lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs.
Positive attitude and excellent verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
